This morning I woke up
All the leaves had fallen
Pools of color
Were flooding the earth
I ventured out
To swim
And lose myself to the world
Below the leaves
The world of nature and heavenly things
Without reason, merely existing
I found myself
In a swarm of
Green yellow and orange
Perfumed drops
That bade me welcome to their world
I enter
Accepting their mere existence
Without need to question
Without need to disobey
And I become a color
Bright as the sun
Alive like the wind
Nature’s elements
Constitute all I am made of
And I am left
With a feeling of home
I accept
I am not here
To hold ideas
That mean nothing to me
That lack the truth
I am looking for
Looking?
It’s already here
Spiraling back
to me
